212 Purple Primer 4OZ
E-Z Weld Purple Primer is a special blend of Solvents formulated to soften and swell PVC and CPVC Pipes and Fittings. Primer penetrates the surface of the pipe and the fitting to be joined therefore; the use of primer will provide a stronger joint. It is highly recommended that primer should be used on the installation of larger than 3” diameter.
Application
E-Z Weld Purple Primer may be used on all PVC and CPVC pipes and fittings, all sizes, and all schedules. Apply a liberal coat to the outer surface of the pipe end and the inner surface of the fitting socket using a dauber supplied with the can or another suitable applicator. Do not puddle primer into the socket. Unlike pipe cleaners do not wipe off the primer. Apply cement according to the instructions on the label of cement while the primer is still wet. PURPLE PRIMER WILL STAIN MOST MATERIALS AND CAN NOT BE REMOVED. HANDLE WITH CARE
